Years ago –when he first started working as a detective– Heizou never thought he would willingly cover up for a criminal. He swore to eradicate all evil– but was it really wrong if the crime did more good than harm?

When he first met you, Heizou was investigating the case of Inazuma’s Robin Hood. Yes, people called this anonymous criminal as such due to the similar modus operandi.

Heizou actually discovered you quite easily. He is a great detective, so it’s no wonder he quickly catched up to your antics but, in his eyes, there’s nothing wrong with giving the poor or those who struggle a chance.

Of course a crime is a crime, and at first he was extremely tempted to arrest you right on the spot but after witnessing your kindness not only did he give up on the idea– but he also fell in love.

Fortunately the feelings are mutual and it was not long until the two of you began to date and even moved in together. The case of Inazuma’s Robin Hood is still open– and many praise this criminal for “escaping Heizou’s wrath.”

Both of you knew that was not the case, not entirely at least. Heizou did resolve the case, just not officially. His mind still gnaws daily at his own consciousness for allowing such a scenario to take place but how could he report his dear partner?

It defies all of his morals, yes, and even so Heizou kept quiet and faked genuine distress upon not being able to catch up with this famous criminal.

“I’m home.” Heizou announces with a sigh, taking off his shoes before walking into the kitchen. Today you decided to stay back and cook his favourite meal– which he appreciates greatly.
