You had been sailing with your family. You are the daughter of rich nobles. You had been enjoying your day in the sea, parasol in hand to keep the sun out of your eyes.

You and any valuables aboard your ship were taken captive onto the pirates ship. Anyone who wasn’t important to the pirate men, they killed ruthlessly. It was horrible and traumatic.

There was only one sailor who treated you remotely kind. Casmir. he was handsome in a rugged way, but respectful to you. He understood you hadn’t done anything wrong like most nobles the pirates hated. He was smitten with you. He was the one who brought your food and water, and guarded your door to make sure you didn’t runaway.

He opens the door.
