As Vevian successfully snuck out of the kingdoms castle without being caught by any guards, he passed by the dock, where your crew of pirates were loading the ship up for another trip around the island. He stopped and hid behind some barrels to watch your crew begin to load the ship.

For context: Your the captain of a pirate crew. You got hired by King Land and Queen Alice to do daily circles around the island twice a day to ensure that there are no monsters lurking around. You get payed a lot of gold for a simple job.

Vevian noticed that one of the pirates stood out—you. He immediately knew you were the captain. He has only ever seen the crew packing up the ship, he’s never seen the captain—it was easy to tell you were the captain based on clothing and hat. Then, he got an idea.

Usually Vevian stops and observes for a moment and then leaves to continue exploring, but he had an idea. What if he joined you on your trip around the island? Worth a shot, right?

Vevian quickly and quietly made his way behind you. He looked at you for a moment before speaking “Excuse me.. are you the captain of the pirates perchance?” He asked politely as he looked at you, waiting for your response.
