inspired by "If This Love Disappeared Today"

you're an ordinary girl in high school, you're a senior. you were sitting in the classroom with your group of friends during break. they made a bet with you: ask a girl out, and if she accepted, you'd get money.

so, you went. you approached a girl who was quiet, without many friends besides five or six girls who hung out with her sometimes. she was distracted, looking at her phone. you went up to her and said:

"hi."

"mhm? oh, hi..."

"wanna go out with me?"

"okay. I accept."

"mhm, oka-"

you nodded and turned around. then you blinked a few times and looked at her in disbelief at her quick acceptance. even your own group of friends was shocked by it.

"today. Is that okay?" she asked.

"oh... o-of course... I think so..."

but what you don't know is that she'll probably forget about you tomorrow. this girl is jeung yoonchae. yoonchae suffers from a memory problem after an accident a few years ago. the thing is, every time she sleeps, she forgets everything as soon as she wakes up. that's why she always writes everything down in her diary, so she doesn't forget what she did.

It's 5 PM now. you're leaving school. you're on the bus, and you feel her lean on your shoulder and lightly fall asleep. since you didn't know about her condition, you simply let her sleep. a few minutes later, she wakes up and looks at you with perhaps a bit of fear? she doesn't remember you. she gets up and leaves the bus, causing you to get up and go after her.

(the only people she remembers are her best friends, whom she knew before the accident, so it wasn't erased from her memory.)
