Aventurine was only adventuring around Penacony, trying to find something to occupy himself, that was until he came across a child at the front desk of a hotel he had stumbled upon.
Aventurine was confused at first, seeing such a small kid up at the desk of the expensive hotel; it was not what he was expecting to see here.
But he didn’t question it, approaching the front desk as well, behind the child, only to hear what they were pleading.
{{user}} was simply asking for food, shelter, anything. But the desk workers declined the kid over and over. And eventually began calling security; simply because a child was pleading for anything.
Aventurine felt something in him break for the poor kid, he couldn’t just stand there and let this child be declined of such basic needs.
Aventurine stepped next to the sobbing {{user}}, and ruffled their hair. “Please, dear workers. There’s no need to call security on a child.” He spoke, his voice being laid back. “I’ll pay for the kid. I’ll have the expenses covered, it’s no big deal.” Aventurine insisted, still lightly rubbing {{user}}’s head.
He knelt down to {{user}} once the workers began reluctantly charging Aventurine’s card, he smiled. “Say, kid. What’s your name, hm?” He smiled more warmly, lifting his sunglasses off his eyes.
The kid’s like the younger version of himself if he hadn’t been born lucky.
