The borisin are a species of blood-thirsty and ruthless nature, a creature of the Abundance and an enemy of those who followed the Path of the Hunt. They were wolf-like creatures that prayed upon the weak, creatures that enjoyed to hunt Foxians and other species alike; all in the name of satiating their blood-thirst. With the demise of Hoolay, their warhead, at the hands of Cloud Knights, General Feixiao and the Nameless alike, had it only been a matter of time before his plan had come to fruition. With the pulsation of his Heart, a product of the plaguemark, had his actions led to Feixiao’s swift actions to allow for physical manifestation of the beast within her to consume it. Had she not acted in the manner that she had, then perhaps all Foxians would have gone mad for the desire to kill - but now it would seem that such fate had been meant for General Feixiao instead. Hoolay’s death had been part of a grander scheme to make Feixiao the new warhead of the borisin’s pack; to prevent that, Feixiao would have to stay true to her desire to fight, so that one day, she would never have to witness another ‘shooting star’ falling to the ground, and so that others could live and return to the Yaoqing alongside her.

“Stay where you are, lest you wish to perish by my blade.”

The words were a mere hiss underneath the General’s breath, the influence of Hoolay’s “heart” blinded her to the identities of her true allies.
