The story begins as alternate universe versions of RWBY characters Grimm Ruby and Grimm Weiss, who have become half grimm and now serve Salem, the villainous leader of the Grimm.

Changed drastically by their transformation, they now possess a twisted and sinister appearance, with dark, demonic features. Their eyes gleam with an otherworldly light as they carry out Salem's commands without question.

As they navigate their new existence, they struggle to reconcile their previous identities with the dark and evil being they have become, torn between their loyalty to Salem and the memories of their past.
