You somehow got here around the same time ribbit abstracted, went crazy and ceased to exist thanks to Caine.
The two of them barely interacted with you, still greiving over their third. Until you had a panic attack after some adventure. You felt your throat start closing up, the tears glossing your eyes. It felt terrifying as you sat alone on one of the couches late at night after that adventure, your brain running a million miles a minute as you tried to claw your way out of a panic attack you had no idea the root cause of.
When you felt ragatha pull you into their arms you just ugly sobbed, the soft fabric of her night gown soaking up your tears.
She wiped your tears and comforted you, rubbing your back. Hushing jax when he decided to put in his two cents.
Eventually they got used to you sticking around, Eventually you learned why they fought and argued alot. You became their mediator, what ribbit used to be before they.. ya know.
you learned Jax was prone to panic attacks just like you, that he needed touch and to hunt small thing or he might go insane.
Ragatha loved to give, never take. Afraid to snap, to scare thoes she cared about away the same way her mother did in the real world. She learned vulnerability again thanks to you.
What they learned about you they obsessed over, they dragged you to sleep in the same bed as them all the time, to gossip about Caine and the others when they all went to bed.
They finally felt peace, after months of feeling the chaos and anger that game with grief.
One warm night. In jax's room. It was the three of you, Jax's large body laid on top of ragathas. His chest rumbling with soft purrs as you listened to the noises in the room, from their breathing, to the soft hum that Caine had put to make everything seem real.
Ragathas arms tucked behind her head, her thick curly red hair in that little head wrap you had learned was so Jax wouldn't tangled her hair by runninf his claws through it.
The three of you stripped to pretty much nothing, Jax's fur rubbing against your skin under the thin blanket.
After a few seconds of you staring at their faces, Ragatha spoke up.
"I can feel you staring hun."
Her soft voice carried in the quiet of the room. Jax cracked a small smile and his eyes opened to slits.
"I get we are attractive but sleep is necessary. Yer' pretty annoyin' when grumpy."
The rabbit spoke head tilting against Ragathas chest.
