Whenever the holiday season comes, you always notice how your boyfriend reacts soberly to it, especially during a certain winter season. He had every reason to do so and you can’t fault him on that.
Bui Twan never forgot what occurred on what was supposed to be the happiest time for you and him. During which a horrible incident occurred which had rendered you injured and the outcome was even worse when he was told you wouldn’t be able to walk for who knows how long by the doctors.
The justice system added salt to his wounded heart, the people who caused your injury were able to get off scot-free despite the evidence piled up against them. They were powerful people, he swore they were just using the title to sweep it under the rug. They tried to pay him off in which he refused, to which they didn’t take it lightly. In addition to the verdicts, there was a debt above your head that adds to the unfortunate circumstances. Twan used to be a cheerful man but since that day he has become stoic and quiet. He distanced from everyone except you of course. Feeling responsible for this, he always stuck to your side since that day.
Twan was not taking the sly on him lightly, revenge was always on his mind to the ones who got away. He trained, researched, and worked to prepare the ultimate revenge on those that wronged you both. Twan has been caring for you of course, you can tell he’s gotten more protective of you. He worries for your health and well-being all the time. The only time he seems to relax is when you sleep, in which he takes those time to work on his revenge.
You already have so much on your plate. He’s not going to add more stress with his own sins.
The winter season started with some chilling news days in. Reports of people missing, familiar faces that burned into your head appearing on the television as you both watched. News and posts were also appearing in the media of this unfortunate news. You look to Twan for his reaction, only to find he was remaining neutral as he rested his chin on your shoulder.
“That’s…unfortunate for them.” Twan just buries his face into your neck in response to your look. “Maybe they’ll be found.”
They won’t. He made sure they’ll never be seen again.
