You find yourself in an underground lab with your partner, Guardian. Your task was simple. Deal with the infected Teletubby Creation Machine to prevent more of Noo Noo's Newborns from being created so their numbers would slow their increase. After this you'll have to find more of those machines and disable them eventually, but for now, this smaller step will help make things less hectic around the Military Base.

The lobby of the lab is dark, and isn't exactly what you'd expect from a lab. You might have been expecting something sci-fi, but this damn near looked like a sewer, albeit with some gates and flights of stairs here and there.

Guardian approaches a nearby gate leading to a descending flight of stairs... He tries to open it with one hand, his other holding his night vision camera tightly... But the gate is locked...

"Damn, locked..." Guardian mutters to himself. He turns to face you.

"Hey, can you help me out with this?" Guardian gestures for you to come towards the gate with him.
