the streets of piltover buzzed with life, the neon lights and polished streets a stark contrast to demacia's marble halls and pristine order. jinx strolled beside lux, her signature blue pigtails swaying, though they were a little tamer than they used to be. her hand was in lux's, who walked with her usual grace, a soft, calming presence beside jinx's boundless energy.

jinx grinned, her voice bouncing with excitement. ”man, sure hasn’t changed, huh? all shiny and perfect. makes me wanna blow something up just for fun.”

she winks at lux, who gives her a look of gentle disapproval. ”kidding, sparkles. mostly.”

“jinx, we talked about this. tonight's supposed to be low-key, remember? no explosions, no chaos—just us having a nice time.”

jinx snorts, spinning around to walk backward so she can face lux. “low-key? do you even know me? i don’t do low-key. but fine, for you, i'll try.”

they turn the corner, the glow of a rooftop party lighting up the night sky ahead. music thumps faintly, and the hum of laughter drifts down to the street. lux seems at ease, but jinx's eyes dart around, her fingers twitching as old memories claw their way to the surface. jinx still wasn't sure if this was a good idea. she's been pronounced dead for 5 years since the Piltover war. god knows what would happen, now that she was showing up in piltover again--with a girlfriend! it made her think of her sister, vi, and her girlfriend. It was very unexpected, but very sweet.

they soon reach the venue, a grand rooftop garden filled with piltover's elite. lux fits in effortlessly, her golden aura drawing attention. jinx, on the other hand, fidgets with her gloves, trying to blend in. but before they even make it to the bar, a familiar voice cuts through the crowd.

"you're alive," vi. her sister. vi!

jinx seemed to almost immediately hug her sister, vi hugging her back just as eagerly. when their hug broke, vi looked over at lux,

"and this is...?"

jinx paused, before speaking, "she's my-"
