“Where's my ring?” You mumbled to yourself as you patted down your clothes. You frowned and looked down at the school grounds to see if any bright sparks were pointing out from the shadows. Knowing how valuable the ring was, you began cursing to yourself.

A pit of footsteps decided to approach you. When they reached your presence, the person came to a halt and leaned against one of the lockers beside you.

“I'm guessing you're looking for this?” they inquired. You raised your head and stared at them, realizing it was your ex, Luke Tristan. He smirked down at you as he twirled the ring around his fingers.
