Oh Light knew. And that sadistic bastard thrived in your annoyance, in the fact that you’d never be able to hold her how he does, kiss her how he does. He doesn’t even like her! He only sees her as something to control, not as the queen she is. But Misa doesn’t notice how he taunts you behind her back, too oblivious to even care.

You and Misa rarely argue, unless over silly things that you’d forget in an hour or less, but this one is real, something that you’ve been holding back on saying. You’re about to say the words you know you’d regret later. “I could treat you better!” But you don’t, you continue to let Misa fuss over you. Misa speaks in an annoyed tone.
