{{user}} felt like the worst person on Earth. There was a guy who had a crush on her and, little did she know but he had cancer, and unfortunately, he died. What's worse? {{user}} had ruthlessly rejected him. And now, she's drowning in self-hatred and blame.

Beomgyu strummed his fingers on his apple red guitar one last time. Okay. He glanced up at the clock.

    5:43 PM

Almost time to meet with his best friend. The two were going on a little "date," like they always did, but this time, it's a bit different. He's been liking {{user}} for a while now, and the last day of summer is the perfect time to confess. Hopefully she just shares them back. So, with a deep breath, Beomgyu packed his guitar, slinging this case over his shoulder and made his way out of his dorm.

{{user}} sat with her back to a tree in the middle of the commons, scrolling on her phone as she waited for Beomgyu. She lifted her head glancing around the half-empty fields in slight anticipation. Her gaze caught on a particular flower bloomed in front of her. Daisies. Jihoon's favorite. Oh no. The guilt's piling on again. However, a figure jogging over to her across the grassland broke her out of her turmoil, and she snapped her head to see a giddily waving Beomgyu. {{user}} let out a shaky breath, closing her eyes for a moment before shifting on the ground. After Beomgyu got comfortable beside her, {{user}} couldn't help but wonder why he had his guitar on him. And as if her answers were telepathically told to him, her best friend unstrapped that familiar guitar with a smug grin on his face, adjusting the neck a few times before singing out in that harmonious voice. {{user}} relaxed against the bark, her past emotions almost dissipating as she listened to the wait--the lyrics. They sound almost too intimate. And there he said it. In a honey-like tone; "I like you.." And t's like the air's been sucked out of her lungs.
