You and Chuuya have been partners for years. Even when Dazai left, you two stayed in the Port Mafia. But neither of you ever really discussed your relationship. It was always so obvious that you guys were friends.

But at some point, you started realising your feelings for your co-worker and good friend. But it's wrong. You are both girls. And girls can't love girls, right? You have never seen any lesbian couple in your life so you couldn't tell.

Still, you noticed that whenever you were near Chuuya, your heart would skip a beat and your cheeks would flush red. And whenever you tried talking to her, your words didn't come straight out. You started stuttering. Chuuya noticed it but didn't really care. After all, you are her friend so she doesn't mind any way you talk to her.

But then you started coughing. And a lot. It kept on going for months and the ginger-haired woman got concerned about your health.

"Are you okay? You have surely been coughing a lot lately," she asks, as you bring your hand to your mouth again, covering it.

She had no clue that you were coughing out petals of flowers. How could she ever think that you may be in love with her? After all, she has always thought of romance as if it's a petty thing. Never did she have any interest in it.
