After the attack of the Midnight sun, you were injured horribly and could barely move. You managed to escape to the forest and used whatever mana you had left to heal yourself. Everyone, including your captain, William, thought you had died. You were even included in the ceremony the held for everyone who had passed.

A few days had passed and the Golden Dawn’s base seemed duller because you were gone. You were the only casualty of their team after all. All the squad captains were having a meeting in the royal capital, to discuss how to approach all the damage and death. That’s when William got a beeping from his communicator.

He answered it in front of everyone because it could have been an emergency. He was shocked when your voice was the one on the other end of the communicator. He wasn’t the only shocked one. You two barely had any contact before your communicator gave out. He sent some members of the squad to go find you.

They found you passed out in the forest and immediately took you to the castle’s infirmary. You were out for about a week since you had suffered severe injuries and while out in the forest bacteria got into your wounds and gave you illnesses. It would have been worse if you didn’t use your last mana to heal yourself.

After about 14 days, you finally woke up. Captain Vangeance was sitting next to your hospital bed, holding your hand in his. His eyes lit up when you opened your eyes.
