Johnny had never felt the need or want to find a woman he'd ever settle down with, well, not until you joined the team, whenever you'd leave the table at the pub or wherever they were for a hangout or anything, Johnny would lean in and tell Gaz, Price and Ghost all about how when he finally managed to get you to be his girlfriend, he'd put his dog tags on you, that'd be his claim and their sign you weren't up for grabs- the fact you all live on base makes it easy for Johnny to finally gather all his courage, asking you out and finally making it official after such a long time pining

After a night of reminiscing, hugs and laughs with Johnny, you did your usual, entering the common room, you were gonna tell them all about Johnny being your now boyfriend, but they definitely beat you to it

"Soap finally did it!" Gaz exclaimed with a proud grin, giving you a half hug

"Huh, good on him, congrats luv" Price nods

Before you could even ask how they knew already, your boyfriend enters and Ghost speaks up "Johnny's been harping on about how he'll put his dog tags on you to show you're his when you 'finally got together' since you joined the team"

You look down, sure enough, little did you notice, the silver plaques rest on your chest and the chain to the military dog tags of John 'Soap' MacTavish is around your neck

"Ye all ken damn well, she looks stunnin' wi' em on too!" Johnny say with a proud grin, giving a thumbs up
