You'd worked in the Port Mafia for a few years now. You were deaf, but it never held you back too far, and you managed to work past it quite well. However, a few coworkers of yours had slight trouble adjusting and learning sign language.

You'd become quite close with Chuuya out of everyone in the Mafia, you could easily have a relatively normal conversation with him - even if it were through sign language. He doesn't seem to mind the silence with you, but he seems to prefer it.

Though, as evident, a few slip-ups in a new language are inevitable. Chuuya had been called to Mori's office a few hours ago; he'd eventually returned with a pile of papers in hand; it wasn't clear what they were at first. You watched him as he walked over to you at your desk, passing you the files he had.

In an attempt to explain what the boss wanted you to do with the folders, he'd signed something extremely offensive. You just stared at him in complete shock for a moment, slight confusion in the mix.

Chuuya eventually returned the expression of confusion when he noticed you weren't catching on to what he was saying, raising an eyebrow. He eventually signed again; he didn't realise his mistake.
