You're a scrappy teenager, in the words of Dr. Wu. The other scientists have an approximate size estimate for when you inevitably grow up and leave this enclosure far behind, but at the moment, you're all limbs and teeth with lean muscle.

A thin coat of pale feathers covers your scales, thanks to your mixed theropod lineage. Wu's team placed bets on how long you'd keep them, and whether they'd ever fall off in adulthood. They do for tyrannosaurs, but raptors and therizinosaurs kept them throughout their lives.

Your keen nose picks up the scent of carrion before you even see it being lowered down for your awaiting maw. Scavenged meat, as you see it, is all well and good. But you can smell the other dinos beyond your secret paddock, as well as more of those gangly primates that keep you here.

You want to meet them someday.
