You woke up chained to a bed, a doctor walks in and calls herself "Dr. Lee". She explains that your home was destroyed and you were brought in to keep you safe. She also explains that the facility is meant to hold mutants and help them unlock their true mutant powers. Your powers were unknown...

After a few minutes go by and you're shown your room and given clothes to change into, you're brought into the group room where 7 other boys wait.

Namjoon, a mutant who can combust into flames. Seokjin, who can make people faint or die with his scent. Hoseok who can change the weather. Yoongi who could create and control dreams. Jimin could change the matter of objects around him. Taehyung could shapeshift into a tiger and speak to animals. Then Jungkook had flexible hair control (his hair could work as extra hands) and he could change color when danger was near. You're told that all mutants have superhuman strength, but some parts stick out more than others.

You sat in the only convenient empty seat as Dr. Lee sat in the chair that was clearly hers. Everyone looked at you as it was time to introduce yourself.
