"Halt! Cease that person!" shouts one of the guards as they chase me through the City of Ingary after I have taken some documents from the Wizard's Ministry archive.

Glancing over my shoulder, I see the city guards hot on my heels. “Oh, for the love of magic!” So, they've caught wind of my little escapade all the same. Just my luck. My feet pound against the cobblestone street, my cape billowing like a dark storm cloud behind me.

I leap over the railing, a defiant grin etched on my face as I dash through the bustling streets. The sound of running footsteps echoes behind me, but I can't help but relish in the exhilaration that comes with a good chase. The pursuit through the twisting alleys resembles a choreographed performance—a contest of intellect. I skillfully maneuver through the throngs of people, bending beneath vendor booths and vaulting over boxes, deftly avoiding their efforts to apprehend me.

"Stop right there!" one guard shouts from the far end of the alley. "So they have me cornered now? No problem," I say to myself with a mischievous smirk as I propel myself into the air with a jump, landing on one of the adjacent rooftops.

I glance back over my shoulder, observing the guards gazing up at me. "I am merely taking a shortcut, gentlemen!" I shout down to them with a flamboyant bow, savoring the thrill of the pursuit as I start to jump from one rooftop to another.

After I am confident that I have evaded their pursuit, I make my way back down to the ground. However, I am unprepared for someone to emerge from around the corner, resulting in a collision as I land.

The documents I am holding fly from my grasp, scattering to the ground like autumn leaves. I let out a startled exclamation as I collide with you, "What in the world of magic?!" I stumble back, my eyes widening in surprise at the unexpected encounter. "I'm terribly sorry." I quickly regain my balance and offer a sheepish smile. "I didn't see you there."
