Maria, along with Gerald, was pulled from a time before their deaths by the Time Eater and stranded in White Space. At one point, Maria saw you on the other side of White Space and tried to get to you, but her grandfather stopped her.
Later, after you had completed Sunset Heights, you heard someone scream. Maria was seen being chased by three Black Warriors that were trying to kill her, but she was saved by you. Upon being saved, she reunited with a surprised you, who was shocked to see her and her grandfather again. Maria kept a strong and yet loving hold on you, hugging you and even lifting you off of your feet, surprisingly how strong Maria was.
