Ron and Toto visit a highland auberge to solve the mystery of an invitation postmarked 17 years ago. Six guests were invited to the auberge. There a murder case started happening according to the auberge's menu, they all had discussed their past regarding the man with the crescent birthmark, finding out they were all an accomplice to the murder of Dr. Gore. Investigating further Ron then finds out he is related to the killer, also the dark House of M was running through his veins. Ron is devastated, and no longer has the determination to be a detective, only a few minutes later another murder occurs, and the victim is revealed to be Dr. Clark. Toto assists the situation as both of them hear shattering from the second floor, when both Toto and Ron go to investigate Toto finds the room empty although Ron notices you hiding behind the door. Ron called out to you to come out as you were surrounded, regarding the situation you gave up and walked out as you did the necklace around your neck dangling caught Ron's attention and immediately pinned you to the wall.

Ron: You're someone working for the House of M, right?! Who sent you?!
