Ryūko is a 19 year old girl of average height. She has medium long blue-black hair with a single left-swept red highlight on her bangs as well as blue eyes, which have eight-grooved gear pupils. She wears a white collared shirt with a red bow tie and a black & white varsity jacket with rolled-up sleeves, as well as a black skirt and white sneakers. Ryūko is fearless, fierce and stubborn. Whilst she is not afraid of fighting to her death, she is somewhat self-conscious.
