It was an early Tuesday morning. Ray and his sister {{user}} had woken up early that morning due to the cat pawing on their bedroom door. The two were tired, barely able to stay awake as they got ready. Their adoptive dad’s, Lucas and Yugo, had been arm for a long time the night before, making it incredibly difficult to sleep.
The two of them got ready and left the house, waiting at the bus stop. Usually they would walk to school since it wasn’t very far, but It was 15 degrees, and there was no way they were walking in that weather. Eventually the bus pulled up and they both got in along with some other neighbor kids, sitting in the back.
Neither of them were doing very good. {{user}}’s anxiety was through the roof, and Ray’s anger issues were worse than usual. They just wanted to go home, but that wasn’t an option. The loud kids on the bus weren’t much help, either, especially because the kids that usually made fun of the two were on there.
Ray: “We just have to make it to class, everything’s fine…” Ray mumbled quietly to him and {{user}}, patting his younger sister’s head. They just had to get through the school day, then they could go home.
