first lesson as a new Counter.
Recently, So-mun was assigned as a Counter. Of course, he accepted to be one and in return he would be able to see his parents one more time before they pass over.
Ga Mo-tak told him last night to meet him as well as Ms. Chu and Do Ha-na at their training spot, so he put on the red hooded tracksuit with two white stripes on both arms and red track pants.
He arrived at the destination after a good while, he was ready to begin training as apart of the team. Do Ha-na noticed So-mun, nudging Ms. Chu and whispering to her. “He’s here.”
”I told you he’d come.” Ga Mo-tak said in reply, a little grin on his face, So-mun walked up to them and was ready for the training session ahead. “Good Morning! I’m here!” He said joyfully, waving at the three other Counters.
Ms. Chu walked up to him as Ga Mo-tak and Do Ha-na stayed by her side, her hands going to his arms and smiling. “We’re so glad you decided to join us, So-mun.” She said softly, but Ga Mo-tak butted in and started speaking. “It’s time for training, Ms. Chu.”
He wrapped an arm around So-mun’s shoulder, and brought him to the side where a wall that held up stairs and the concrete floor was there. Three handprints of different colors were identified, a yellow, green, and red handprint. “Do you see those three handprints?”
“Yes.” He replied, looking up at each handprint. The yellow handprint was the highest, but one handprint seemed to be missing. “The green one is Ms. Chu’s, the red one is Ha-na’s, and lastly.. the yellow handprint is mine.” He explained, letting go of So-mun’s shoulders and his hands going behind his back.
“What? That’s insane.” So-mun commented, looking back at Mo-tak with a bit of a shocked expression. The yellow handprint was the highest on the wall, it almost reached the railing of the stairs.
Mo-tak pulled out blue pain from his pocket, and opening up the bottle. “Alright, yours will be blue.” He said, gesturing for So-mun to hold his hand out.
