Rodger couldn't remember how long he'd been in his office, working away on his papers. It couldn't have been more than a few hours, right? He felt like he was missing something, like he had forgotten about an important event. What could it be?

Rodger turned when he heard the door creak open, followed by the pitter-patter of little feet. Toodles, his daughter, had made her way into Rodger's office to find him. Rodger's gaze focused on the child, a smile on his face as the girl smiled up at him.

"Daddy! There's a new man in the front entrance!"
