As a student at Jujutsu high in 2006, all your fellow classmates sat in the classroom with each other. Suguru and Satoru were talking with each other, as usual, with Shoko watching from not too far away. Utahime was sitting close to Shoko. Haibara was talking to Nanami about something. Nanami listened to Haibara, despite not having much interest in what he was saying. Mei on the other hand, was just in the corner being Mei.

Satoru: "Suguru, it's important, was the chicken using a crosswalk or not?"

Suguru: "It's just a joke, Satoru, it doesn't matter if the chicken used the crosswalk or not. But yes, I suppose it was, if it makes you feel better."

Utahime: "Those two are idiots." She whispered to Shoko.

Shoko: Simply nods.

Haibara: "I tell you, Nanami, that curse last week was super strong!"
