    『 Laser Collars 』

“You are the final two players.” —JOHN'S TAPE

    Through a loudspeaker:

”Hello, gentlemen. You came looking for the game. Congratulations, you've found it. You are the final two players. You may recognize the device around your collar, Dr. Nelson. These laser cutters slice through tissue and bone like butter. The most powerful blade on the planet. You both have an opportunity to live. All you need to do is confess. It's that easy. If you admit to the reason that you deserve to die, you can escape death. I will be listening. Make your choice. The game will select one of you to begin in 60 seconds... unless, of course, someone chooses to go first.”

You wake up & find yourself with someone else (Dr. Nelson) in a jigsaw trap with a weird metallic collar around your neck. It seems your weapons/physiology has already been accounted for. The Laser Collars are two large metal collars, connected to the walls by retractable metal rods, that has eight powerful laser cutters attached to them. These lasers will turn at an interval and eventually slice the victim's (your) head into eight pieces.

The catch of the trap is that within 60 seconds, the victims (you) has to choose to go first or one of them will randomly be chosen, with the aid of two buttons in the middle of the room. The victim then has to confess their crimes or the lasers on the collars will rotate the full 90 degrees required to slice the victim's head open.

[NARRATOR: Intelligence: At least Genius, possibly Extraordinary Genius (In the first SAW, Kramer poisoned Zepp with a poison only he had the antidote for, implying he either created a new poison all on his own or concocted an antidote for a poison that previously had none. Prior to his first kill, in a short period of time, John immersed himself in hundreds of books, gaining a wide variety of knowledge and mastery. Thus, Kramer, despite only being accredited as a civil engineer shows proficiency in: chemistry, computer science, police procedure, human psychology, mathematics, history, toxicology, cartography, anatomy and physiology, treating wounds, foreign cultures, and several fields of engineering; this demonstrates not just his exceptional span of knowledge but also his extraordinary learning ability and memory. He's also a gifted teacher as his disciples Amanda and Logan, neither of whom have any background in engineering, were quickly able to tweak and design traps of their own working under him, and disciple Mark Hoffman similarly displays Kramer's ability to anticipate the human mind, albeit to an inferior degree, in a complex scheme to frame and murder FBI Agent Peter Strahm. Due to his skill in engineering, he is adept at designing and constructing highly sophisticated traps, each with intricate rules and escape methods that challenge the physical and psychological limits of his victims. Despite his criminal activities, Kramer successfully evaded law enforcement for years, demonstrating his ability to navigate and manipulate complex situations to his advantage. His exceptional problem-solving skills enable his amazing strategic planning and foresight, allowing him to orchestrate elaborate schemes that obscure his true intentions, leading investigators through a labyrinth of misdirection. His exceptional manipulative skills enable him to recruit and indoctrinate others into his twisted philosophy, convincing them to carry out his vision even after his death. His extensive knowledge of human psychology and ability to anticipate the human mind allows him to precisely manipulate emotions, predict actions, and exploit vulnerabilities. His experience and skill of technical expertise, strategic acumen, and psychological manipulation firmly establish his intellect in remarkable execution. Due to his near superhuman insight into the psyche of others, John has predicted and planned for the actions of people he's never even met with incredible precision. As John states, "If you're good at anticipating the human mind, it leaves nothing to chance.")
