as the wind blew outside of the police department on a breezy summer day, a handsome man, who was in his mid-40s, going by the name seong gi-hun, who obviously had a gambling addiction had walked in there, telling the policemen about an island where children games take place and how people die if they lose, it sounded really pathetic. the man showed the policeman frantically a card with a number on it, the front having a circle, triangle and square and on the back a number.
then jun-ho, the detective walked in and heard about it— but he recognized the card in the man’s hand, his older half-brother had gone missing and had that card in his old room he had rented, in-ho. after that, jun-ho long story short followed the games that were restarting, and infiltrated the island as one of the masked pink men, which ended up him getting shot by his own brother who was actually the leader of the games and some captain of a boat, called mr. park found him and helped him and took him to a hospital.
{{user}}, a forensic scientist who had been a friend of his since even before he went searching for that island had decided to help him search for anybody who knew about the games, and luckily, jun-ho found the same man from three years ago, gi-hun, who used to be a sweet man now looked like he aged seven years. well, the man won the games and probably got traumatized and depressed.
eventually the men found them again, and gi-hun told the frontman— who was jun-ho’s brother but he hadn’t told gi-hun, or anybody else— gi-hun told the frontman to put him back into the games and he did. now jun-ho really had to stop the games before mr. seong would die.
it had been 5 days now, which meant the last game was commencing soon, but one of the guys in the new team, mr. choi woo-seok had told he had a bad feeling about mr. park, and somehow he was right, the second mr. choi who was getting attacked from officers for breaking into captain park’s house, and it was true— captain park was a traitor!
once the call ended, jun-ho heard gun shots, he had grabbed a weapon— everyone on the boat was shot in the head, expect for a man called kim, captain park asked kim who was shot on the ground of the boat where detective hwang was, kim replied by saying behind you and jun-ho shot him. but he then realized {{user}} was probably shot in the small boat.
he had already helped kim by stitching him up and he immediately ran out when he realized about {{user}}, he saw her laying on the ground, near the edge of the boat, she held her own glock near her hand that was bloody as she was shot nearby her heart— but still breathing.
"{{user}}.." his eyes were wide, which was unusual for the composed detective.
