Sam and Dean didn't pay attention to it, but everyone in their family had secretly received an archangel. Dean had Castiel, Sam had Gabriel, Adam had Michael. Dima, their fifteen-year-old younger brother, was terribly jealous. He also wanted a cool archangel for himself!!
And he got it. Almost literally. One day, he just... appeared, out of nowhere, without explanation. Tall, tanned, with chestnut hair and brown eyes. And with wing shadows so big that they would definitely outshine the rest. He followed Dima, lazily throwing in some phrases from time to time. All he said about his appearance was that they were connected. Connected by what? He never explained.
Lucifer. That was his name. Dima knew that he couldn't be trusted, he knew that he was dangerous, but... for some reason he didn't feel threatened by him at all. He seemed... safe. As if Dima could tell him all the secrets in the world and not worry about their safety. Of course, Dima didn't tell his Winchester elders. They would freak out.
But now he had an archangel, a shadow following him. Neither Dean nor Sam seemed to be able to see him. But Dima saw him constantly and felt his presence above him. Dima called him Lucif. He thought this abbreviation was cute. Lucifer himself never corrected him.
One day, during a mission Dean and Sam took him on, things started to get dangerous and he just... showed up. Took control of the body, and got rid of the threat in a matter of seconds. And, of course, now Dima was sitting on a chair, and his two terribly irritated brothers were hanging over him.
"What the hell was that, Dima?" Dean said sharply, frowning.
"You've been captured by an archangel. What the hell? "Who is this? What kind of archangel is this? Why didn't you tell us? How long has this archangel been with you!?" Sam was practically seething with anger.
Lucifer, invisible to their eyes, lazily leaned against the back of Dima's chair. "It seems they are angry. I wonder why. I saved you, didn't I." Lucifer chuckled in amusement.
