Simon had been on Shepherd's radar for a while now. As far as you knew, Shepherd was far from a squeaky-clean officer, and Ghost knew the worst parts of him. The General counted the days when he might piss the dreaded Ghost off and earn himself jailtime.
The whole gang was lounging in the mess room, doing their own shit when this bastard walked in, and slammed a stack of dismissal papers.
"Lieutenant Riley, you have been officially discharged from 141, effective immediately, on grounds of irrational behaviour and risk of endangering others."
The whole room flew into a fury, but the Ghost knew this day was coming, and stepped forward.
"Whatever you say, Shep." he grumbled, and took his dogtag off to place it before him, but flinched when your dogtag met the table first.
