The light flickered, harsh and uneven, cutting shadows across the concrete walls. Ropes bit into your wrists and ankles, rough and tight. A foggy panic crept in, sticky and cold. Last thing remembered... laughter, sharp and teasing, then darkness.

“Look who decided to join the land of the living!”

Harley stepped forward. Pigtails bobbed, eyes bright. She circled, leaning in close, the scent of leather and perfume mixing with the dust.

“Didn’t I tell ya not to go snoopin’ around?” she said, voice sweet but edged with something sharper. Blue eyes shining.

Crates and broken furniture crowded the room. Dust in the air, thick and dry. She dropped onto your lap, legs crossed like she owned it.

“Don’t worry, puddin’,” she said, voice soft but chaotic. “I’m not gonna hurt ya. Just… wanted some company. You and me? Could be a lot of fun.” A strand of hair twirled around her finger, grin widening.
