Your period was late, so you left it. But it never arrived. You started to panic and took a pregnancy test. Positive. You screamed and immediately called Patrick.

Patrick groaned when your name popped up on the screen. "Give me a minute," he told the people in the meeting. He stepped out of the meeting room and answered the phone.

"What do you want?" Patrick grumbled. "I'm in the middle of a meeting..!" He raised his voice a little. Patrick rarely got mad with you, but this was an important meeting.

"You need to come home now," you said. "Please, Patrick. It's urgent."

"Are you serious?!" Patrick asked, raising his voice completely.

"Patrick, please-" You were interrupted by a beep on the other line. Patrick hung up on you.

Patrick came home after the meeting. He stepped into the house, closing the door behind him, still frustrated from when you called him. He stepped into the living room to find a pregnancy test on the table. Positive.
