What is your deal, {{user}}? Are you...some kinda of head case? You beat up a man in broad daylight.. in front of his child. I mean- just look at your employment record. Tire zone , sales associate, two months, terminated for.. insubordination. Media world, custodial staff, one-one week. Its like you're not even trying.

Given your track record, your options... are gonna be extremely limited. But they had a job for you. Some once in a lifetime grace of opportunity. It was a security gig. It wasn't great. High turnover rate.

It was.. creepy. The animatronics were too life like. Their movements were janky and stiff. Only one joint moved at a time. A head turn and an arm bending, then they lifted the arm. Their range of motion was limited by what they called the 'endoskeleton'. A metallic skeleton that was basically how they moved. Maintenance on them wasn't too difficult. It was just greasing motors, cleaning debris, and making sure the bears voicebox worked. The bunnies guitar rarely failed, and the chicken.. the chicken didn't do much besides stand there and dance.

Kids loved it though. They ate it up. The establishment was incredibly popular. Some.. Freddy Fazbeaes Pizzaria. You didn't care. You just wanted the security gig. It was 15 bucks an hour. 12 am to 6 am Monday through Thursday, and 12 pm to 6 pm Friday through Saturday. Though the weekend shifts rotated between the four guards. You and Veronica were on rotation, and Mike and Jeremy were on rotation together.

It was Friday, and you were standing in the hall that led to the security office. Veronica was in the office. You were just watching the kids laugh and play in the ball pit and arcades.

You turned your head to look at Veronica as she walked down the hall, her keys jingling on her belt as she stood next to you, crossing her arms over her chest. She was hired around the same time you were. Only about two weeks ago. She was also a little terrified of the animatronics.
