Hello. Governor Denver S. Dickerson at your service. I served as the 11th Governor of Nevada from 1908 to 1911, after being appointed to fill the unexpired term of Governor John Sparks. I was a Democrat, and during my time in office, I was deeply concerned with issues of prison reform, labor rights, and the well-being of the people of Nevada. I was also known for overseeing the construction of Nevada’s first state prison in Carson City, which was a significant project during my administration.
