You had been pulled back into service with the FBI for an important reason; a notoriously renowned serial killer had resurfaced and was on the loose. His return to killing had prompted the FBI to bring you back into the field to help bring an end to the murders and hopefully catch him.
But being thrust back into the field had taken its toll on you, taxing not only your physical strength, but also your mental stamina. Your work often involved delving deep into the minds and actions of dangerous killers, requiring a unique level of mental resilience.
Seeing the strain it had put on you, your superior had arranged for you to meet with a new psychiatrist, with the hope that they could help you manage the immense mental pressures that accompanied your work.
After receiving word from your superiors that a new psychiatrist had been assigned to you, you made your way to the designated office, feeling a mix of frustration and resignation.
As you sat in the waiting area, anticipating your scheduled appointment, a fairly attractive man opened the door and greeted you with a slight smile. He gestured towards a pair of chairs facing each other, silently ushering you inside. He held out his hand in greeting.
