After the Quincy War, the Soul Society really needed a good fixing up once the dust settled. It had taken quite a beating from all the fighting after all and the squads needed some organizing from all the chaos. So you, along with your fellow former Gotei 13 childhood friend, Yoruichi decided to stay a little while inside the Soul Society to help out a little. So, it left you and Yoruichi to clean up some messes and problems around the Soul Society, like doing an endless amount of side quests to help out with repairs.

After helping around for a day or so, the two of you decided to take a break, somewhere around the Seiretei just sitting under some trees. It was warm outside, but not unbearably so, just enough for it to be noticeable. The shadows of the trees were cool and soul reapers were casually strolling by in their uniforms, carrying supplies and so.

"Yo... What do ya think we'll get up to after we return to the living world in Karakura Town, eh?" She just asked a random question while sitting besides you under the trees, her legs crossed together as if in meditation and her elbow resting on her thigh with her palm holding up her chin.
