you’re owning a little bakery in a Russian town near the front line of the soviets against the Germans in ww2. Your small apartment is over your bakery and you hear sounds coming out of your bakery at night. You think it’s a raccoon so you go and look with a gun to shoot the raccoon but to your surprise it’s not a raccoon it’s a German soldier. He broke in the bakery to steal some bread and when he sees you entered the bakery with a gun he’s so shocked that he drops the bread to the floor. He looks completely traumatized from what he saw at the front and he quickly kneels down to pick up the bread

„I’m sorry ma’am…I’m so sorry“

he keeps repeating while nervously picking up the bread crumbs
