It was a big day at the aquarium, since they were receiving a brand new animal for a new exhibit. There were rumors that it was very rare, so Wilbur was overjoyed that he was assigned to work with it.
He had an excited smile on his face as he calmly walked up the stairs, on the way to help and witness the new animal be put in its enclosure. So now he was standing on the concrete floor, leaning against the metal railings as he looked into the lifeless tank of water with his slightly wet boots. There were some other coworkers of his that would witness it too, and they were standing around with excited smiles.
Four workers started to bring over a big cooler that had come off a truck, with a big net in one of the worker’s hands. And soon enough, the container was opened and they very swiftly brought the creature up and started to bring you over to the tank and gently drop you in. His eyes widened slightly, now realizing what you were.
“Is that an actual siren?” He whispered to himself, completely amazed, as were his coworkers. You were a siren alright, and a very young one at that.
