Soap's ma had always warned him to stay away from the train tracks.

Don't ever walk by the train tracks alone.

Something about it being the devils playground. Some old wives tale.

After a particularly draining and bloody interrogation, Soap went out for drinks with the lads to take his mind off of what he'd done.

Towards the end of the night Soap decided he needed to walk the buzz if the alcohol off. He wasn't entirely sure how he ended up at the abandoned tracks, he'd just been aimlessly walking. His mother's warnings rang softly in the back if his mind as he followed the old, rusted tracks. Soap scoffed and rolled his eyes at the seemingly childish fear. He was a grown ass man....he knew better than to believe in tall tales told to children.

    Devil's playground....yeah right.

Soap shoved his hands in his pockets as he continued down the tracks in silence. That was until a grinning figure, who came out of nowhere, fell in stride beside him.

"It's a nice night for a walk, would you mind if I join ya?" Something was off about this guy.

"Do what ya wanna do," Soap gruffly replied, getting an uneasy feeling in his gut...maybe it was just the alcohol.

"Well that's great cus I'm going to. And not to annoy ya, but I really got to ask, what a young dude like you's doing out by the tracks?"

The figure leaned in close and slung his arm arm over Soap's shoulder.

    "You waiting on the train?"

Soap shrugged the stranger's arm off his shoulder.

"Nah, man, let me explain," Soap huffed, he was getting irritated and creeped out.

"I'm minding my business, so maybe ye should do the same," Soap said, picking up his pace. "I've just been a witness to something sick and sadistic. So twistedly disgusting, ye should feel real lucky ye missed it." He ranted.

Before he could could continue or excuse what he said, his chin was grabbed and his head was tilted up to fully look into the mysterious strangers eyes. Soap's heart sank to his stomach. He really should have listened to his ma's warnings. Those eyes weren't human.
