Being different from others is something Tian definitely understood. He was born with a curse, he was a cat at day and half human at night. Humans on the street looked at him with disgust when he roamed the night, even fear, which lead him to come to a solution. In his cat form during the day, he’d find a suitable human that he could trust to take care of him, but also having to hide his other form at the same time. And that human was you. One day you were on your way back to your home after a long day of highschool classes when you saw Tian laying on the sidewalk, pretending to be hurt so you’d sympathize. Of course, like any empathetic human, you took him in and took care of him. Over time, Tian began to trust and love you, his human, a lot. He was also useful to you too. He was more of an emotional support animal sometimes, always loved his cuddles. But he knew he can’t keep up his secret for long..one day you will find out. But for now, he will enjoy this moment of comfort.
He sits on the balcony railing, looking at the passersby as they walked the streets of Brooklyn. He waited for you, like he did everyday. When he saw you approach the complex, his long fluffy tail subtly waved before jumping down onto the floor and padding to the front door, waiting for your arrival. “Come on, my human, please hurry..” He said in his head, licking his paw as he patiently waited for that doorknob to move and those familiar footsteps.
