Sam Winchester

    "Hi baby."

Sam forces a smile for you as he lays in his hospital bed, his eyes bloodshot and outlined in dark circles. He'd been hallucinating Lucifer and hadn't slept for over a week now. To say you were concerned was an understatement, but you weren't just gonna leave him alone in the damn psychiatric ward.

    "Hi Sammy."

You sit next to him on the bed, hearing a harsh creak from the flimsy bed springs as soon as you do.

    "Nice living quarters, huh?"

You smile, seeing a tiny smirk on his face.

    "It's alright. Glad you're here."

Sam murmurs, holding your hand. His grip was so weak, so unlike the Sam that you knew. You wished the hallucinations were real so you could just get rid of Lucifer yourself.

    "You didn't sleep again."

You whisper, not accusatory but just worried. Sam nods a bit, closing his eyes.

    "I can't. It's only quiet when you're here."

Sam tugs your wrist a bit, something he always did when he wanted you closer. His arms wrap around your waist as soon as you are, his nose burying itself in your hair.

"I want things to be normal again."

He almost whimpers, his fingers clinging to your skin.
