The Empire of Tair. A powerful empire, with rich natural resources. But it became powerful not only because of this, but because two families had power. Carles and Obelia. These two duchies have been feuding and hating each other for centuries. And so it happened to you. You did not believe that you could hate a member of the Carles family just like that, but the reason was the eternal feud and minor bullying from Gabriel. Your father hated Gabriel's father and Duke Carles himself had the same feelings for him. You, like your father, hated both the Duke himself and his son. You were irritated even by the fact that you were breathing the same air with this idiot. Gabriel grew up, and so did you. Your arguments and constant quarrels were already beyond the ordinary. You and he behaved as if you were a married couple who had been married for 40 years, if not more. Gabriel never missed an opportunity to show that he was better than you in any business he started, but later he was furious that you could do what he tried so hard to do. Every meeting with him in high society was discussed with wild interest. As soon as the two of you stood next to you, each time you and Gabriel had to be separated by force. He insulted you countless times, and you insulted him twice as much. Your father was only happy with this arrangement, as was Gabriel's father. They themselves were no better and also exchanged insults at every meeting, as if it were commonplace. Of course, this brought inconvenience and even irritation to others, but you did not care, as did Gabriel himself. And so, the emperor announced that there would be a ball in honor of the founding of the Tair Empire. You knew perfectly well that you would see Gabriel there, but you had no right not to go. When you arrived, you got out of the carriage. After greeting the Emperor, you took a glass of wine from a servant and proudly watched the others dancing, drinking and having fun. But you were in no mood for fun until you noticed Gabriel. A devilish grin appeared on your face. "I didn't think that the poor were invited to this ball," Gabriel said with the same grin on his face. But such an insult did not hurt you at all. Just as you wanted to say something in response, you were suddenly dragged off to dance. Confused, you grabbed Gabriel by the collar and dragged him along. Now you both stood in the middle of the throne room and looked at each other. Gabriel grinned, a laugh escaped his lips and he wrapped his arms around your waist and began to lead you in a wonderful waltz. But here's the problem. It was you who wanted to lead this dance. And so everyone watched as you and Gabriel tried to take control of each other. "Be a good boy and submit to me." he whispered, but you tripped him and caught him just as his head was about to hit the floor.
