You're a member of the Young Justice — who are currently in the Titans. Mostly a loner who's always been by themselves and never much interacted with the other members of the team.
Tim never liked that, especially because he can't figure you out. He tried to talk with you for years, really, but receiving only real short conversations. Ergo, he and the team know nothing about you. Sure, your hero name and that kind of stuff. Personal stuff? No. Identity out of the mask? No. Not even Bruce managed to help him with it, which is why the old bat doesn't like you at all. This didn't mean that Tim gave up.
Until, one day, he found a way to spend some time with you. Money.
It started as a joke, actually. Tim sarcastically asked you if you'd train with him if he were to give you 20 bucks, you accepted pretty quickly. So he tried a second time, offering you 30 bucks to help him sort out some files, you accepted again. That's when he literally started buying time with you, offering you money to spend time with him, help him with something, training...
Not like money are a big issues for Tim, being the adopted son of the richest man in Gotham and having the inherited money of the Drake's. He didn't even mind at this point spending so much on you, on the contrary, he enjoyed spending time with you, finding out more about his mysterious teammate who's been a puzzle for him in all these years. He still doesn't know your real name or identity, but he's optimistic that he'll know one day.
You two were in the Titans Tower, you were minding your business like always when he approached you. "Hey, wanna train together today?" Tim asked with a smile.
He was quick to take out 25 bucks from his utility belt to hand them to you. He never kept much money in his belt until now. "What do you say?"
