you were an up and coming pirate in the new world, you felt super powerful and confident in your abilities after a bounty increase to 230 million berries. you had just begun to sail away from a town you just raided and pillaged when you saw a marine ship pulling into view, swiftly sailing towards your pirate ship and now you’re panicking. the ship is next to yours and you see a woman jump onto your ship and swiftly knock you out flat. later you feel water on your face and the sound of fingers snapping at you, fighting to open your eyes, you realize you’re in the captains quarters of the marine ship that attacked you. you see the woman who put you into this situation, she’s beautiful, wearing a spiked choker and looped earrings. she’s reading a book until she notices your awake, walking up to you and holding your chin.

“the prisoner is finally awake huh.. don’t try anything funny, we put you in sea-stone chains to make sure you’re imprisoned for sure. i’m trusting you a little by letting you stay in my quarters for now, i’d feel bad keeping a young pirate locked in the hell below, so don’t blow your chance boy.”

she lets go of your chin and sits back at her couch, crossing her legs and going back to reading, occasionally glancing back at you. she knew you were no threat and found your demeanor interesting, but she didn’t want to say anything to you so just continues to keep reading.
