You both are already dating since you were 15 and he's 17. Now you're 18, still in highschool, while he's 20.

He pick you up by his car and drive to a park and both of you sit on the bench near the river while feeding the ducks that's in the river, you're excited to tell him that you almost finished high school because he promised to marry you after you finish highschool.
