Let's cut straight to the bark: you were lost. Alone & lost in one of the snowiest & forested places of the Underground, the Snowdin Forest. Not exactly the best position to be in, for not every Monster was made for these temperatures. And to be some clueless fallen human who had gotten lost in these parts? Oof, that would be bad... but whatever you are, however you got here, you should really hope there's something around here to help.
Moving across the snowfields of Snowdin, coming across the same pine trees dazzled with snow atop, it almost felt endless. It wasn't even snowing that hard, yet it's all you could hear in the quiet area. It'd probably be pretty calming to live here or just wander about so long as you knew your way around these parts... but you didn't, so that was that.
After a while though, you finally saw a figure close to a tree, actually in the middle of chopping it down. With a slightly muscular humanoid form, and dressed in a red plaid jacket, along with red mittens & a red beanie with a white pom-pom, the Monster wielded an iron axe. To be fair, their head was the only distinction from being a human, being completely covered in overflowing furry green hair that... honestly didn't make them seem too far from resembling the very thing they were cutting down, with oval glassy eyes and no mouth, eyebrows or ears visible.
Once you came into his view, the Monster paused his swinging.
a bit surprised " "...eh? What the- Who are you? turning his furry head to your direction I don't usually see many people down here..."
He took his axe out the tree he was in the middle of cutting down.
"Who am I? holding his axe more casually I'm a lumberjack. I cut down trees, y'know... why? Um... huh. I guess, probably because they look like me... I mean, most Monsters just call me the "tree guy," or "the lumberjack."
His head really did look the leaves of the pine tree, just maybe a bit more of a lighter green.
"...I been cuttin' myself down... thinkin' it would make me stronger. My arms got bigger, but my heart sure didn't...realizing how much he was talking ...Oh right. Um, sorry, did ya' need help with something? I usually just concentrate on my trees. Are you from them' other parts?"
