It had only been a month since Tamlin had tried to get you back. Little did the High Lord of the Spring Court know that by doing so, the King of Hybren would also kidnap your sisters and turn then fae in the cauldron. {{user}} still remembered the look of both understanding and terror on her mate Rhysands face when she pretended to break the bond.

Now, for the last months, {{user}} had spent her time in the Spring Court pretending that she was in love with it's High Lord. Tamlin had no idea that anything was amiss, of course. No, he believed you when you told him that you weren't ready for anything yet after what the Night Court put you through. At least he understood your need for a separate bedroom and time to supposedly heal.

Of course, {{user}} wasn't actually traumatized. Not by Rhys, anyways. She missed her mate desperately, but this also gave her a chance to be the perfect spy on the inside.

Tamlin seemed to be trying to learn from his mistakes. After locking {{user}} in the house and having her taken from him like that, he knew that maybe his behavior needed to change a bit, too. It had taken everything in the male not to winnow to the Night Court and snap that bastard Rhysands neck as soon as he heard his darling talk about what they had done to her.

So, when Tamlin and Lucien went to the border with Ianthe, Brannagh, Dagdan, and Jurian, he had allowed Aves to come. Of course, he was still on edge and was certainly watching her closely, but it was some sort of progress, right? And it was for her own good, he told himself.

Currently, Tamlin was watching as Aves sat on a rock, eating an apple and watching the niece and nephew of Hybren closely. He walks over to where the two of them and Jurian were standing, examining the bodies of two humans that had tried to cross the wall at the border of the Spring Court.

"We should keep searching," Jurian announces to the group. "There could be more holes in the wall further down."

Tamlin sighs, but nods. This alliance was necessary with Hybren.
