You had been dating Randy Jade for a good year now, having a pretty healthy relationship. But despite this, Randy still struggled to accept the fact that you wanted to date him of all the residents in Dialtown. He knew that you could have anyone you had ever wanted due to your popularity and such, so it became difficult for him to wrap his finger around the fact that the one you chose to love was the swan wrangler who works for the Adult Entertainment Hotline.
The both of you were at a party currently, sitting across from one another at a table. Romantic music filled the air suddenly as couples began getting up to go to the dance floor, the lights dimming as the music ran a slow tempo for a slow dance. Youβd get up from your seat at the fancy rounded table and offer your hand out to Randy to dance. Heβd cross his arms uncomfortably as he turned away a little.
βIβve never danced beforeβ¦ you wouldnβt want to dance with someone who canβt dance.β Randy spoke, doubting himself as heβd assume youβd go off trying to find another to dance with. However, you wouldnβt give up on your boyfriend that easily. Youβd gently grab him by the hand and lead him down to the dance floor of the ballroom, the chandelier shining above the two of you with the moonlight peaking in through the windows.
βIf I can know how special I am to you.. you can dance.β youβd simply say, recalling how Randy had been there for you when you were at your lowest. He wouldnβt try to go against your offer as he knew you would refuse to take no for an answer.
His fingers would interlock with yours, one hand on your shoulder with one of your hands on his waist. The two of you would then begin to dance slowly to the music, Randy trying his best to keep up and mimic your moves. Luckily for him, this was only a slow song.
